Warranty Terms for Water-Gate Barrier
Water-Gate barriers are supplied with a Manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty begins on the date of shipment from the factory and is for three years.
Damage caused by improper use, or wear and tear, is not subject to these warranty terms. This includes for example:
1) Improper handling
Dragging instead of carrying the water barriers may cause abrasions to the material, which can adversely affects the performance of the water barriers.
Damage due to the action of solid, liquid or gaseous substances or inappropriate chemicals.
2) Repair work
Any damage (cracks, holes) resulting from sharp objects , can be repaired, but these are not covered under warranty. Any repair work done by the manufacturer or distributor will be covered under warranty.
3 ) Exceptional stress
Water barriers, which are stressed over the specified pressure loading.
4 ) Storage
To avoid fungus on wet water barriers , the barriers should be dried after use.
Our warranty exclusively refer to parts supplied by us and devices. The warranty is void if without our permission, modifications or repairs have been made.
All warranty claims must contact Flood Protection Solutions Ltd immediately, who must be notified after the occurrence of damage in writing. Flood Protection Solutions Ltd will consult on behalf of the client with Megasecur, the Manufacturer, on the course of action.
Crates are supplied with a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty begins on the date of shipment from the factory. The crates should be stored indoors and as such no warranty claims will be accepted for the deterioration due to weathering, or equivalent.
If trailers are supplied, a warranty is not provided directly by Flood Protection Solutions Ltd. The Company shall endeavour to transfer to the Client the benefit of any warranty or guarantee given to the Company by the manufacturer of the Goods. In the case of IforWilliams trailers, a 12 month warranty is supplied subject to their terms and conditions.

Equipment supplied on www.floodandwaterpumps.co.uk by Flood Protection Solutions Ltd is covered by the following warranty terms and conditions:
1. Tsurumi Submersible Pumps
Supplied with a 3 year warranty, which commences on the date of purchase from Flood Protection Solutions Ltd.
2. APP Pumps
Supplied with a 2 year warranty, which commences on the date of purchase from Flood Protection Solutions Ltd.
3. Speroni Pumps
Supplied with a 2 year warranty, which commences on the date of purchase from Flood Protection Solutions Ltd.
4. Products other than pumps in 1,2 & 3.
Supplied with a 1 year warranty from date of purchase from Flood Protection Solutions Ltd.
These warranties cover the failure of equipment due to faulty components or assembly. The warranty covers parts and labour only. Carriage charges are excluded. Fair wear and tear, along with mis-use are excluded from the warranty. The Company reserves all rights regarding the validity of any claim.
The company are responsible for any Goods sold by them which were obtained in the U.K. The company will return such goods to their supplier and will undertake to report to their customer within a reasonable period. Any warranty allowance offered by the supplier will be passed on to the Customer. Carriage charges, along with fair wear and tear are excluded.
N.B
Customers must not attempt any repair or adaptation to any equipment during the warranty period, or use the equipment for any purpose other than for which it was designed. Any such interference or mis-use will negate any warranty claim.
Nautilus Barriers:
The Supplier warrants that, for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery (‘warranty period’), the components of the Goods shall:
Conform in all material respects with the Specification; Be free from material defects in design, material and
workmanship; and Be of satisfactory quality (within the meaning of the Sale of Goods Act 1979).

Flooding and its effects are always unpredictable and can vary from property to property. If used in accordance with instructions Water-Gate products should give good protection against flooding but no responsibility is accepted for flood claims. The Water-Gate should be used with water pumps behind it, to cope with seepage, rain and groundwater.
All reports and recommendations are offered in good faith and the advice given is the best that is currently available.
