The chartership is awarded by CIWEM who are the only Royal Chartered Professional Body dedicated to the water and environment sector. Representing and supporting thousands of members globally, all of whom are dedicated to improving water and environmental management and associated social and cultural issues. It is a lengthy and rigorous process to become chartered. If you have an Honours degree (or equivalent) and around five years’ experience in the water and/or environment sector, then you’re eligible to apply for C.WEM.
As a company we are very passionate about delivering the highest level of expertise currently available, along with fantastic products and services to suit our customers’ needs. Over the past 6 years we have grown into one of the UK’s leading flood defence companies, supplying organisations such as the NHS and Environment Agency. We also run one of the largest ecommerce sites for water pumps, and our work stretches far outside the immediate flood industry with projects such as pond oxygenation under our belts.
There is a benefit to the public of Simon’s chartership as he is now recognised as a qualified water and environmental manager, distinguishing him from many in the sector.
We are committed to the industry, and the needs of our clients. Going forwards we are looking to help more individuals and companies reduce their flood risk, along with helping phase out single use products and encourage the uptake of reusable and recyclable options, enabling budgets to stretch further, whilst helping protect the environment.
