Flood Protection Export to Barbados

Posted 24. 04. 2019

Barbados can be affected by tropical storms, causing flooding. A recent example was Storm Kirk, which in 2018 deposited between 50-100mm of rain in just 24 hours. The flooding forced the closure of schools, universities and other public services.

It is expected that climate change may cause sea levels to rise by around 75cm by 2100 which will undoubtedly cause further flooding in Barbados.

At Flood Protection Solutions Ltd we are passionate about helping to reduce flood risk for clients across the World, and were delighted to assist a customer in Barbados.

The barriers were manufactured in the U.K and shipped out on a direct flight, arriving 48 hours after dispatch from ourselves.

Our installation partners for Barbados, AM Builders Ltd, managed the installation works.

If you require assistance, whether in the U.K or abroad, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
